Heruka is another of the wrathful dieties. He represents the combination of compassion with skillful means. He is the ultimate embodiment of the selfless mind.
Maitreya embodies loving-kindness, he shows us how to act to cause peace in our world. Loving-kindness generates peace in you, creating peace in your immediate world and radiates endlessly out into the entire world and the universe.
